We’ve used it on the T-Rex 450's and Mini Titans and it worked really well. We used it with the Futaba S9650 servo and it was every bit as good as the 401.
Although classified as an EP gyro, we couldn't help but try it on the nitro helis. It actually did pretty well the 401 out performed it when mounted on the nitro machines.
Logictech 2100T Simple Setup
There are 2 setup modes:
1) Hold RUDDER while turning the gyro on will automatically select an RX type.
2) Hold the MENU button until the green LED comes on next to SERVO SPEED then release - Each time you press the MENU button with the RUDDER at neutral will cycle the green LED down to the next selection.
- SERVO SPEED is set by holding one direction of RUDDER and press the MENU button and the red LED will move one direction and hold RUDDER the other direction and press the MENU button and the red LED will move the other direction.
- The first/left red LED indicates a matched Logictech digital servo (270hz/.95ms)
- The second/middle red LED indicates another brand of digital servo (270hz/1.5ms)
- The third/right red LED indicates a standard analog servo (68hz/1.5ms)
- ROTATE RATE is done the same way - Hold one direction of RUDDER and press the MENU button and the red LED will move one direction and hold RUDDER the other direction and press the MENU button and the red LED will move the other direction.
- Left = Slow
- Right = Fast
- DIRECTION works the same way again - Hold the RUDDER one direction and press the MENU button and the red LED will move one direction and hold RUDDER the other direction and press the MENU button and the red LED will move the other direction.
- Left = Normal
- Right = Reverse
§ SERVO LIMIT works similar but more to it - Hold one direction of RUDDER and press the MENU button and you will see the red LED go on either on the left or right side then you move the RUDDER stick controlling the servo to the point you want the servo to stop for that direction then press the MENU button again.
Do the same for other direction by holding the RUDDER the other direction and press the MENU button so the red LED comes on the other side then hold the RUDDER where you want the servo to stop for that direction and press the MENU button again.
§ GAIN is indicated by the eight red LEDs when in operation mode - There is also a green LED labeled "TL" in the top left corner that indicates when the gyro is in TAIL-LOCK mode.
Set the gyro gain ATVs to 0% then toggle the assigned gain switch to see if the TL LED is on in either position. If so then leave the switch in that position and adjust the gain channel SUB-TRIM so that the TL LED just goes off. Now adjust the ATVs between +/- 0% and 100% as this should match the actual gain of the gyro and the reason for the gyro selecting a radio brand!!
Gain indication of each of the eight red LEDs from left to right:
0-30% 31-40% 41-50% 51-60% 61-70% 71-80% 81-90% 91-100%
This should actually match the % displayed in your radio's travel adjustment from 0% to 100%.
