The ATG is a throttle governor developed and flown by multi-time World Champion Curtis Youngblood.
The ATG is now up to version 3, with an incredible 3 modes of operation - unlike ANY other governor on the market today! The ATG features a simple push button setup, rpm indication lights, and a small slim case. The new software allows you to set the radio type to Futaba (to match the RPM settings on the 12 and 14 channel radio) and allows you to optimize the ATG for use with a digital servo (both available only when used with the optional G-View module).
Modes of Operation
Basic mode - a simple, quick start option for setting up the ATG. Set the rpm range via push buttons and indication lights and go fly. Nothing but basic curves needed. Using a simple programmable mix on your radio can give you as many head speeds as required!
Active Throttle Mode - much more than just a limiter! In active mode the ATG allows you to run your throttle curves and mixes to optimize engine performance, while still governing to to a set RPM. ATG passes through all your throttle curves and mixes and simply modifies that signal as needed to keep your set RPM. This mode prevents not only overspeeding, but underspeeding as well!
Multi Mode - This now allows you to switch between modes of operation, while in flight. Please note, this mode is not available when the radio type is set to Futaba (only with G-View).
